About
My name is Nick Senzee and I’m a married 33-year-old dad of one sweet and lovely daughter (and hell raiser). She is 3. My wife is a software engineer. We live in a bedroom community south of Seattle, on the way to the mountains.
Since before my daughter was born, I have mainly been the one who took care of the house and all the administration of our lives. Naturally, I worked full time and so did my wife. Things at home were not spit and polish, but we didn’t fret; it didn’t matter since it was just us. Life kind of walloped us when the baby was born. Very fortunately, she was lovely and healthy but she had a lot of energy and managed to kick our butts. We were both still attempting to work, but my wife bore the brunt of it since she had opted to work from home specifically to be home with Bean. I traveled 75%. We cried uncle and started the process of moving back to the Northwest (where my wife is from) from Maryland (where we worked like dogs).
Now, I’m a work at home dad, writing, cooking and cleaning. And I like it. (Well, most of the time.)

Hi Nick-
Dave a Suburban Daddy said you might be interested in something different that your Dad readers might enjoy…thredUP kids is a place to swap kids clothes online.
It’s really a Dad-esque shopping experience for kids clothing. The company has been live for a few months helping Men and Women swap great clothes they don’t wear for new one but we’re launching our killer app – thredUP kids sometime next month.
The service lets you swap your 2 yr old clothes for 3 yr old clothes, quickly online without leaving the house (Think: as easy at Netflix). It’s a product designed perfectly for dads….While Mom’s sometimes enjoy picking through sale racks, most guys I know do not – especially when it’s for their kid.
Anyway, thought it might be something you’d like to check out – http://www.thredup.com/kids. Let me know if you’d like some more information.
Thanks!
Karen
